This modern riverfront cabin has been thoughtfully designed by design firm Infinite Home to give a beautifully laid-out space to enhance your stay and encourage moments of togetherness. Featuring indoor and outdoor gathering areas like the family room, elevated game room, and porch overlooking the sprawling backyard and scenic Ellijay River, it’s perfect for relaxing by the fireplace and enjoying the soothing sounds of the river rushing past you.

Upon entering, the heart of our cabin greets you. To your left lies our chef’s kitchen, stocked with all modern amenities such as a brand new Samsung suite of appliances, including a French-door refrigerator, dishwasher, and 36” range to whip up a family favorite or two. Adjacent to this is our dining room featuring our mid-century Article dining table, where many laughs and stories are shared under the warm glow of our modern industrial chandelier illuminated with Edison bulbs. And for those chilly evenings, our living room beckons with its snug seating, a heart-warming stove fireplace, and an expansive view of nature’s beauty right outside the large slider doors.

Bedroom 4 (lower level): 2 custom built-in twin bunk beds and a king-hanging bed from Four Oak Bed Swings. All three beds are fitted with down hypoallergenic comforters and pillows. Two wicker cocoon hanging chairs flanking a beautiful 72” Pottery Barn dresser where the 65” smart TV is mounted.

Comfort extends to the bedrooms. Each room was designed to give you a different experience regardless of where you decide to stay. As soon as you enter the primary room, you’ll see the opulent king-sized bed fitted with down hypoallergenic comforters and pillows tastefully decorated with faux fur blankets and designer pillows for a truly elevated rustic look. The spa-like ensuite bathroom has a free-standing tub, double vanity, spa towels, and a standing shower for a serene retreat. Connected to the primary are 2 doors that open to the covered porch where you can enjoy your mornings on the bed swing while listening to the comforting sound sounds of the Ellijay River.

The upper level has 2 secondary bedrooms, each with their unique charm. The ‘warm brownie’ bedroom has its own personal porch with an oversized rocking chair and a hammock to hang out and enjoy the outdoors comfortably. For our little adventurers, our basement bedroom promises a world of fun. The rope-suspended king bed is a hint of whimsy, while the built-in twin bunk beds are every child’s dream come true. The home is located in a private HOA neighborhood with lovely neighbors who are very knowledgeable about the area, its history, and the wildlife. Don’t be afraid to say hi! Your arrival to our gated neighborhood begins at a lovely covered bridge crossing the Ellijay River.

River Run is a perfect setting for families seeking relaxation and quality time together. We love our furry guests and are happy to welcome them on your stay with a few important notes:

We allow up to two hypoallergenic dogs (under 30lbs each). If your pup is a little over the weight limit but still hypoallergenic, just send us a message on Airbnb—we’re happy to accommodate! We also ask that you please send us a quick photo and let us know their breed so we can give the official approval.

While we know all dogs are lovable, non-hypoallergenic or larger dogs aren’t allowed—and bringing one will result in a significant fee to cover the deep cleaning required to make the cabin safe for the next guest

The house and 3.5 acres of land are yours for you and your guests stay, except for the Owner’s closets downstairs.

We have a lot of driveway space with 2 separate driveways, an upper and lower. We ask that you please bring no more than 5 cars to the cabin so that it is not a disturbance to our neighbors!

Free Wi-Fi

After each guest, we thoroughly clean and refill the hot tub to ensure it’s in pristine condition for your enjoyment. However, please note that the hot tub may not be immediately heated to your desired temperature upon arrival. It takes some time for the water to heat up to the desired temperature, so we ask that you adjust the temperature as soon as you arrive if you plan on using the hot tub during your stay. The hot tub should never be set above 104 degrees for health reasons.

Your total reservation fee for this home includes a per-booking damage waiver fee, including any applicable taxes. The damage waiver ensures coverage for any accidental damage caused to the home or its contents, including appliances and furnishings, up to a maximum of $5,000. However, to benefit from this coverage, you must report the incident to the host before you check out. The damage waiver serves as a replacement for the conventional security deposit.

TVs
There is a smart TV in every bedroom (except the upstairs brown room) and both living rooms. We have many streaming services available such as Disney, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc. We do not pay for these services so you will need to use your own login.

Backyard Lighting
The ground lights along the pathways come on automatically in the evening. The fairy-lights are manually turned on. You will find the switch located in the basement game room over the dry bar.

Privacy
Whether summer or winter the backyard provides the privacy your family will appreciate in the mountains. Goose Island Neighborhood has houses sprinkled throughout, with plenty of space between for maximum privacy. We have neighbors to our left, who also rent out their cabin however you cannot see or hear them from the property. None of our neighbors homes impede your privacy in the backyard. You cannot see another home in the neighborhood from our property in the summer.

Views
The best views over the Ellijay River in the summer are from right in the river; pull out one our our plastic chairs and enjoy a nice relaxing time sitting in the middle of the river! It’s right in our backyard! With over 800 feet of river front you have plenty of space to enjoy the gorgeous view of the Ellijay River; of course, the most dramatic river views are in the Fall!

CAUTION
Please be careful in the river. Serious injury may occur on slippery rocks, as well as disruption to the carefully aligned rock formations which provides the gorgeous flow of water.

ATTENTION
To ensure our cabin stays beautiful and comfortable for all guests, we kindly ask that you do not bring items like paints, glitter, or anything that could potentially stain or damage the furniture. Thank you for understanding and helping us maintain a cozy and clean space for everyone to enjoy!

~FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS~

Q: Are there extra charges for using the hot tub and bringing pets or extra guests?

A: We do not charge a fee to use the hot tub or any other amenities included in the home! There is a $150 pet fee (only applicable if bringing pets).

Regarding extra guests, the maximum occupancy is 4 guests, which includes adults and children(no extra guests). Please contact us if you need extra accommodations for more people, as we have a cabin next door that can accommodate an extra 6 people.

Jacuzzi/Hot tub: You can set the jacuzzi to your desired temperature, but we recommend keeping it under 103 F for your safety.

Q: Can I park on the street?

A: NO street parking whatsoever. You must park in the driveway. 8-10 car parking maximum.

Q: What time is check-in and check-out?

A: Check-in is after 5 PM local time, and check-out is no later than 11 AM local time to give our caretakers enough time to prepare the home for the next guest.

Q: Do you allow early check-in or late check-outs?

A: We cannot accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs under normal circumstances. This policy ensures that our caretakers can clean and properly prepare the property for our next guests. Please contact us if you want to request an early check-in or out and we will do our best to accommodate!

Q: Will I need to meet the property manager to get a key to the cabin?

A: This cabin has a smart key system that allows entry through the issue of a “code” rather than a physical key.

Q: Do you provide a mid-stay or daily cleaning service?

A: All stays include a departure clean. A mid-week or mid-stay clean can be provided for an additional fee.

Q: What is provided with my accommodations?

A: River Run offers a kitchen with modern amenities, including a coffee maker, toaster, stove and oven, and refrigerator. Cooking and serving items, including plates, bowls, utensils, a can opener, a corkscrew measuring spoons, and more. Regular coffee maker and Keurig machines. We also offer a spice rack, salt, and pepper.

Bath towels, pool towels, and bed linens are available. We also provide an initial supply of trash liners, toilet paper, hand soap, and dishwasher soap.

Laundry facilities are also equipped with laundry detergent.

Q: Can I ship a package to my home?

A: We do not recommend shipping directly to the home. We do not have mailbox keys, and many different people have access to the home after your stay such as vendors, housekeeping, Guest Services staff, etc. So, we cannot be responsible for packages once delivered.

Q: Do your homes have an outdoor music system?

A: Most outdoor music systems are disabled due to noise complaints. We recommend bringing a small Bluetooth speaker since you can arrange it where you like, and it is easy to connect to! Absolutely no outside music past 10 PM. Only low decibel, no amplified speakers.

A: The nearest hospital is Blue Ridge Medical Center, roughly 21 minutes away.

Q: Can I fish on Ellijay River?

A: Yes! The Ellijay River is accessible for trout fishing, all fish are catch-and-release. River Run offers a relaxing experience and has some of the best views! Bring your own fishing pole and tackle, or pick up what you need at the Walmart in Downtown Blue Ridge.

Q: Do you have Wi-Fi?
