Nicknamed “The Treehouse”, this incredible cabin is as it sounds — elevated in a forest of trees. The huge deck space — complete with a fire pit, hot tub, swing, BBQ, dining space & lounge chairs — is surrounded by nature. Inside, the space maintains a cabin feel, but has a stylish, modern and fully-renovated interior. Full kitchen. 2-bed, 2-bath, plus a lofted office space with pullout. Ideal for a romantic getaway, family reunion or retreat for writers & artists. Can sleep 7.

The space

The cabin is two-bedroom, two-bath. The master bedroom off the kitchen has a king bed with a memory foam topper, a smart TV and charging stations on both sides of the bed. The master has an ensuite bathroom and a separate door to the deck (which soon will lead to the coming-soon hot tub).

The upstairs bedroom has a queen bed, and a twin trundle bed (meaning it can sleep 2 adults AND 2 children comfortably). That bedroom has its own bathroom as well.

In between the two levels there is a lofted office space with a huge picture window. It is a tranquil, beautiful place to work. A monitor will be left for guests to plug in their laptop via HTML cable. This office is a fantastic place for a writer’s retreat.

In the lofted office, there is also a pullout couch with a memory foam bed; so this area can also serve as a third quasi-bedroom. The windows do have blinds, so it makes a nice additional sleeping space. If you have an 8th guest, the couch adds one more sleeping space.

The living room is equipped with a smart TV. Both TVs have Netflix, HBO, Hulu, Amazon Prime and more. There is no cable, but both have live TV through Roku and Vizio so you do get live channels, including news.

The fireplace is wonderful and will be available for use during the colder seasons only. Please do not use in the summertime. The fire pit on the deck is for use year-round.

There is a laundry room with a washer-dryer. We provide detergent and dryer sheets.

The deck features a swing, rocking chair, fire pit, sunbathing lounge chairs and a dining table. A hot tub and BBQ will be added soon and should be here before by August. Contact us to confirm.

The kitchen is brand new and fully loaded for those who like to cook. A tea and coffee station is provided, as well as a Soda Stream (for all those bubbly water addicts, like me).

Guest access

The whole cabin is all yours! On an acre of land, the cabin feels very private, separated a good distance from neighbors.

GROCERY SERVICE…

How would you like to have the kitchen already stocked with your groceries before you arrive? We can do that. We will have you place an online order and have your groceries waiting for you when you get here. There is a $45 charge for this service. Inquire with us if you’re interested.

SPECIAL OCCASION SERVICE…

Are you celebrating a birthday, anniversary or other special occasion? We are happy to set up a special surprise for your loved one. Roses, birthday cakes, decorations, champagne — we can make it happen. There is a $50 charge for this service. Inquire with us if you want to give your loved one a lovely surprise.

– The cabin is conveniently located between downtown Blue Ridge (10 minute drive) and Ellijay (15 minute drive). This makes it a great place to explore the adorable mountain main streets in both cities.
– High speed wi-fi is strong and consistent
– There are hundreds of amazing recreational activities and hikes nearby. Both Blue Ridge and Ellijay have some incredible restaurants. There will be visitors guides at the cabin for your use. But please reach out if you’d like recommendations.
– This cabin is available for group retreats. It was originally intended as a writer’s retreat called Blue Ridge Writer’s Retreat. We welcome small group retreats of any kind. Additional services available for that. Inquire with host if you’d like to host a retreat.
