Welcome to The Velvet Otto, a gorgeous designer-decorated 8BR home in scenic Massanutten that sleeps 20. Outside, enjoy the barrel sauna, hot tub, firepit, outdoor projector screen, basketball court, putting green, and bocce court. The interior is equally impressive, with gourmet kitchen, dining space for 20, two game rooms, and workout area. Truly a one-of-a-kind property for this area. Plus pet friendly! The space
The house is about a 5 minute drive to the slopes, pool, and dining at Massanutten, 4 minutes to the spa, and 5 minutes to the indoor/outdoor Waterpark. The Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park is 15 minutes away with some of the best hiking on the east coast. JMU and everything else in Harrisonburg is 18 minutes away, and there are several breweries, wineries, and restaurants within 15-20 minutes of the house.

– Game room with pool table, poker table, multiple arcade machines, and TV viewing area with electric fireplace
– BR1: Master bedroom with king bed, desk, and additional seating
– Full bath 1: ensuite bathroom to BR1 with double vanity
– BR2: King bedroom
– Full bath 2: across from BR2, also serves living area
– BR3: King bedroom
– BR4: Two queen bedroom
– Full bath 3: hallway bath shared between BR3 and BR4
– BR5: King bedroom
– BR6: King bedroom
– Full bath 4: hallway bath shared between BR5 and BR6
– Laundry room with two sets of full size washers and dryers

Lower level:

– BR7: King bedroom with peleton bike and workout area
– BR8 / kid game room: 2 sets of bunk beds, foosball, basketball game, 2 arcades, and seating area with TV / Xbox. Plus, each of the 4 beds has it’s own TV!

Other things to note
– The Velvet Otto is pet friendly! We allow up to 4 pets with a $200 pet fee (total, not per pet or per night).
– Massanutten offers hiking, skiing, snowboarding, tubing, swimming, dining, spa, ropes course / zip line, golfing, go carts, mini golf, and much more.
– The driveway is large and flat, and can accommodate about 6-7 vehicles. There is an overflow parking lot a few minutes down the road if needed
– Wifi is fast with a strong signal throughout the house and decks. Some bedrooms, plus the living room and game rooms smart TVs where you can access all the main streaming services.
– We provide a fully stocked coffee bar with multiple coffee drip and Keurig options
– Guests can enjoy community pool access in the summer season for a small per person fee.
– Linens and towels provided
– We do require a separate rental agreement, which we will send a link to e-sign after you book. There are no additional fees beyond those listed here.

WELCOME TO MASSANUTTEN!

This home is in a private residential neighborhood and is part of the Massanutten Property Owners Association (MPOA), governed by its rules and regulations. There are rental homes in all MPOA neighborhoods, but people also live here. Your nearby neighbors may be full-time residents, including families with children, retirees, second-home owners and other guests
enjoying their retreat.

NOISE
• Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
• Keep noise indoors during these hours.
• No excessive noise at any time, as judged by MPOA or its assigned agents.

PARKING
• Keep all tires off the road.
• Don’t block fire hydrants or park in front of another property without written approval
from your host.
• Park only in designated areas or overflow lot (4007 Peak Dr., Massanutten, VA 22840)
• No buses, campers, or RVs to be parked at homes or on roads. Overflow lot is
available with written approval from your host.

OUTDOOR FIRES
• High wildfire risk area!
• No open fires.
• No unattended fires.
• No firepit use during quiet hours (10:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
• Firepits and grills may be restricted during local emergency
conditions, check MassanuttenVillage(dot)com or electronic sign at
entrance for updates.

ALCOHOL
No open containers on roads or in common areas.

PETS
• Leash always required when outside.
• Clean up after your pets.

TRASH
• Do not place garbage/trash outside, including screened-in porches, decks or
carports. Trash attracts wildlife, which could endanger you and damage the property.
