We offer the fastest Wi-Fi available in the area, ideal for streaming and remote work. However, given our mountain location, occasional brief interruptions may occur. We like to see it as a gentle reminder to unplug and enjoy the peaceful beauty that surrounds you.

—WASHER & DRYER—
For your convenience, there’s a washer and dryer inside the cottage—detergent included, so you can pack light and stay fresh.

—GAMES—
Let the good times roll with a variety of games for all ages! Head outside for a friendly match of cornhole or a towering round of Jenga. Indoors, dive into our collection of classic board games or gather around the game table for foosball, billiards, air hockey, ping pong, chess, and more. Whether you’re feeling competitive or just in it for the laughs, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

—PARKING—
Feel free to park up to two cars in our driveway—it’s all yours during your stay. We kindly ask that you avoid parking on the street, as the roads are narrow and we love keeping things easy and respectful for our wonderful neighbors.

You will have access to the entire property and all of the amenities. 🫶🏽

Welcome to the Cottage! A few helpful things to know for a great stay:

Please Note: A GUEST EXPERIENCE AGREEMENT must be signed by all guests prior to check-in. We will collect your email after booking to send the documents for signature. Thank you for helping us keep everything smooth, safe, and secure!

1. SPA & SAUNA SAFETY : We hope you enjoy the relaxing spa and sauna—please soak and unwind at your own risk. For everyone’s safety:
• Never leave children unattended in or near the spa or sauna.
• The spa is recommended for ages 5 and up, with close supervision.
• The sauna is recommended for ages 12 and up, with brief (5-10 min max), supervised sessions.
• Drink plenty of water while using either to stay hydrated and avoid overheating.

2. NO PARTIES/MAX GUESTS 6: No parties are allowed, and guest count must not exceed 6.

3. RESPECT THE NEIGHBORHOOD : We’re located in a peaceful, family-friendly area and have wonderful neighbors—we kindly ask that you help us keep it that way. Please be mindful of noise, especially outdoors. Disturbances or complaints may result in a fine (up to $500), so thank you for keeping things calm and considerate.

4. MOUNTAIN WILDLIFE SAFETY: We’re in beautiful mountain wilderness and share the land with bears, deer, turkeys, and other wildlife. For everyone’s safety:
• Never leave children unattended outdoors.
• Keep all trash bins securely closed.
• Do not leave any food or garbage outside.

Please note: While we have regular professional pest control, occasional sightings of ants, spiders, insects etc. can happen in this environment. If you notice anything during your stay, let us know and we’ll take care of it as soon as possible.

5. FIRE SAFETY NOTICE: NO CANDLES, FIREWORKS, OPEN FLAMES, or WOOD-BURNING FIRES are allowed due to high fire risk in our area. Any type of fire is illegal in this county. SMOKING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED anywhere on the property, both indoors and outdoors. You’re welcome to enjoy the electric fireplace inside and the propane BBQ and fire pit outside—safe to use year-round.

6. SECURITY CAMERAS : For everyone’s safety, we have cameras at the front door and on both sides of the cabin. There are no cameras inside the home.

7. QUIET HOURS: 10 PM to 8 AM—perfect for starry nights and restful mornings.

8. ROUTINE MAINTENANCE & GUEST COMFORT: To ensure everything stays in perfect working order, we schedule regular maintenance for the hot tub, sauna, propane refills, pest control, trash pickup and other essential home items. If any of these fall during your stay, we’ll always give you a heads-up in advance. Our trusted maintenance team typically works outdoors and does their best to be quick and discreet so your visit remains peaceful and uninterrupted.

9. ARRIVE BEFORE SUNSET (If Possible): We recommend arriving before sunset on your check-in day. The cabin is nestled on top of a mountain, and while the drive is beautiful, the roads are winding and not well-lit at night. Street signs can also be hard to spot in the dark, so arriving during daylight makes it easier to find your way and settle in comfortably.

YOSEMITE RESERVATIONS:
Yosemite now requires reservations during peak seasons and holidays. Be sure to check their official website to see if one is needed for your visit.

SNOW CONDITIONS:
Snow can arrive anytime from late December through April but often melts within a few days. The county keeps main roads well-plowed. We only allow cancellations if the cottage becomes completely unreachable.

Tire chains are required during active snowfall or when there’s heavy accumulation. We highly recommend 4WD, just in case.
