Acquiring one of the few a-frame cabins left in Summit County, we had the great opportunity to hold onto the dream of this early 1970’s build in Breckenridge, Colorado. Transitioning from renters to owners of this special property, we wanted to keep its original feel while while making necessary updates.

High Point Hideaway Colorado cabin rental amenities

Previously, this home’s main heat source was an elegant wood-burning stove that sat as a centerpiece in the living area. The original stove can still be found residing in the northwest corner of the cabin with a new purpose, while updated heating units have been installed to make the winters a little more comfortable. Other new additions to our home include an upgraded kitchen with quartz countertops, open concept and new cookware. New flooring and furniture throughout help create the relaxing environment we search for in our escape to the mountains. While we appreciate the solitude, we brought in new electronics, Wi-Fi and streaming tv for those times you need to be connected. Updated spiral staircase.

Step outside

Outdoors, you will find a private hot tub that is nestled in the forest. Smell the fresh mountain air while you enjoy your coffee. Or gaze up at the starts. We treasure this unique property and want to share it with others. Beautiful Colorado cabin rental.
